We’re using the latest technology to aid in our relief efforts. In an effort to save critical time, we have been deploying our DJI Phantom 4 drone to asses roof damage. This has been crucial not only in time saving, but also rescuer safety. Many of the roofs we’re being dispatched to have severe structural damage that make it unsafe to do a visual inspection.
In addition to our drone camera technology, our mobile units are equipped with advanced GPS and radio communication. Our team is able to quickly become familiar with the streets and neighborhoods in disaster affected areas.
Our base of operations has dispatchers using the same GPS and radio communications as well as a weather center running around the clock to keep an eye on incoming storms. Once a Request Help ticket is created, it populates our database instantly and our dispatchers prioritize the most critical calls and deploy our teams accordingly.
